Mike Delcavo 2009-12-24	Nice Beach Hotel, Rayong, Mae Rumphung The hotel is pretty nice. The location is great. We own a car and that was to our advantage because you will want to get out from the hotel for certain things. Wifi was expensive and the breakfast was not so great.	Sawadee

It was big, cleen rooms with a small balcony unfortunately without any chairs and table. The location was very good for bath and sun. A very good beach only 50-75 m from the hotel (just over the road), excelent for kids, but it was not much to do in the afternoons and evenings. It was only one restaurant + the restaurant in the hotel. No stores and other things, only a little minimarkt. The hotel have a good service with taxi to Ban Phe, Rayong City etc. You could call when you want them to take you back to the hotel. It was excellent. The staff was very kindly and helpful, but it was only some of them who speek english. In the district was it not many people who speek english.
Stan Davis 2009-12-10	Nice Beach Hotel, Rayong, Mae Rumphung We were very pleased with the hotel, the location is nice as its opposite the beach. The only thing that we didn t like was the rubbish on the beach when the tide went out, this was such a shame, and due to this I got an injury on my foot from a rusty nail that I trod on. But the hotel staff were friendly and tried their best to communicate with us with their little english....	Very happy with the booking service and even when we wanted some further information we had an immediate reply and they were very helpful...

It s a shame the hotel transportation is so expensive, but it s a good thing there is a sawngtaew running every half hour on week days and once an hour in the weekends. I had a nice stay.	Very good!

John Harmon 2007-02-20 until 2007-02-22	Nice Beach Hotel, Rayong, Mae Rumphung No one at reception can speak English so do not expect any help unless you can find the one maid who speaks some English. There are no services available near hotels on this stretch of beach between Rayong and Ko Samet. No buses either. It is quiet but beache is not kept clean. There are a couple of primitive stores where water can be bought and a couple of small local eating places, but nothing else. Private taxis are only available if you pre arrange through hotel or have your own contacts in Rayong or Ban Phe, the departing harbor town for Ko Samet. The hotel s one computer is coin operated and the connection is so slow you waste half your money getting connected. Even when it does not work I was not offered my ten bahts returned. While the young Thai staff are nice and eager to please, the Thai lady owner merely smiles and shakes her head, saying no to any question asked her. English speaking TV channels consist of BBC, Star Movies, and Discovery. The hotel restaurant is mediocre. The free breakfast consisted of one hard, crisp fried egg and fried lunchmeat, with instant coffee. Enjoy!
