Merz Frank 2009-07-01	Aree Beach Resort, Lamai Beach fantastic place. never had a problem there. very good price for a nice room. and most important, it was safe. the manegment and the stuff was very friendly and trustfull and i had a great time there. located direct on the Beach. to swimm you have to walk a little bit but perfect for snorkeling when is no low tide.

Kriszti 2009-04-03	Aree Beach Resort, Lamai Beach It was a beautiful place. We felt well ourself. The owner and the staff was very friendly and helpful. On the beach you should wear boots, but on the lower side of the bank you can swim without them. If you go about 200 metres on the sea, you can see colorful fishes. We will come back next year!
OTTO 2009-03-31	Aree Beach Resort, Lamai Beach Wir waren zwei Wochen da und wohnten in einem Seaside Bungalow. Wir haben schon viele Fernreisen unternommen, aber bei Aree und Helmuth war es am allerschönsten. Falls irgendwelche Mängel auftreten, behebt Helmuth diese. Wir haben ihn als sehr freundlichen und klugen Gastgeber kennen- und schätzen gelernt. Das Resort ist sehr familiär geführt. Täglich wird die Bettwäsche ausgetauscht, die Handtücher gewechselt und 2 Wasserflaschen in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Die tailändischen Bedieneteten sind immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann vor dem Hotel direkt nicht schwimmen wegen des vorgelagerten Riffs, aber die wunderschöne Aussicht, die ruhige Gemütlichkeit und die schattenspendenen Bäume machen dies mehr als wett. Wer alles etwas locker sieht und sich in die tailändische Mentalität einfindet, wird den Urlaub dort in vollen Zügen genießen. Wir gehen auf ale Fälle nächstes Jahr wieder hin. erik hanns pefferkorn 2009-03-06	Aree Beach Resort, Lamai Beach we really enjoyed our stay in the aree beach resort. the rooms are clean (they are daily cleaned) and the service is very nice. the bungalows are located in the north of lamai-beach, where it is quiet and not crowded. if you want to have a relaxed residence in koh samui, an ideal place for it.
Gabriella farace 2009-02-24	Aree Beach Resort, Lamai Beach Un posto molto tranquillo il bello : la stanza beach front a pochi metri dal mare quindi ti addormenti e svegli con il rumore del mare. Il brutto è che il mare in quella parte di Lamai è verametne brutto quindi devi spostarti, le stanze non erano belle o nuove ma funzionali aria condizionata tv e frigobar, clientela totalmente tedesca, il proprietario non il massimo della socialità ma una persona perbene	Sawadee perfetto ed efficiente come al solito

anita mineur 2009-01-21	Aree Beach Resort, Lamai Beach I found the hotel to be only average in every way. My room was not what I anticipated from the photos that I had viewed on the website. My sea view was pitiful and I was disapointed. The manager was also not keen to discuss my dilema! The staff were friendly though. For the record my opinion is 2/5.
Simon Chetwyn 2008-10-23	Aree Beach Resort, Lamai Beach After a 10 hour journey from Bangkok Aree Beach Resort was just what we were looking for. Our room was bright and clean and the A/C was a constant refreshment. The staff were all really helpful and friendly and our room was cleaned everyday with fresh linen and towels provided. We were right on the beach front which felt like our own private little strip. It s about a 5-10 min walk into the main resort area which was managable. We had a fantastic stay here and would definately recommend it to everyone.	Sawadee.com was very easy to use although our transfer from the main pier to take us to Aree Beach Resort never showed up so we had to pay to get ourselves there.
Ben Harrer 2008-07-23 until 2008-08-04	Aree Beach Resort, Lamai Beach Could I speak more highly of this place? I doubt it. Helmut and his wife and the whole staff were great, the bungalows were clean and well-equipped, and the ambiance was splendid. I spent a few weeks with the beach outside of my window - a great way to start the day (or the afternoon, since you can spend your evenings in nearby Lamai or a-bit-further-away Chaweng if you so desire). Aree Resort was clean, quiet, and filled with travelers from other countries. The travelers seemed to be family-types and older than your standard lager-happy merrymakers, so the mood was mellow. I would highly recommend this place and will stay there again next time I am fortunate enough to be in Samui.	Yeah, it was all good.
