The landscaping and hotel premises is beautiful! Breathtaking view.. The restaurants and recreation areas are wonderful. We were there for 3 days and enjoyed every moment.Rooms are also spacious and comfortable. The staff is extremely cheerful and helpful. I had a bit of a emergency and the speed at which they helped and took me to the nearest hospital was touching!Perfect place for families. My sons had a very good time. Great place if one wants to just go and relax...We will surely like to stay there again.

Ease of operations. Smoothly done.

We stayed for 1 week, nice quite privately owned hotel, good (and reasonably priced) restaraunt with a good selectio of farang and local food.Restaraunt staff v friendly and helpful indeed all the staff were with exception of the lady in reception who seemeed to have had a charisma by-pass,not what you need on arrival after a long journey.V tidy/clean private beach and decent swimming pool with a large shallow end (however did not see any depth markings and the deep end is approx 1.6m ).As others have said there is nothing to do outside of the hotel unless you have access to transport of the motorised variety. The town of Ban Chang is 10/15mins away by car - where there is a handy Tesco s !40/50 mins to Ban Phe for the ferry/speed boat to Koh Samet, well worth the effort, also just before the Ban Phe turn off is the Tamnanpar Forest Restaraunt and Spa (poorly signed turn right as if to Rayong Resort and it s 200m on the right). The human Zoo of Pattaya is 40 mins in the opposite direction ,worth it for shopping, aqaurium, botantical garden, tiger conservsation zoo etc.The hotel has an extensive Gymn/sauna/massage other than that bring some books! we thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay and would recomend to anyone who wants to just R & R.

Quick and efficient

The hotel was great: everything operated as it should do, though they didn t have Premiership football on the TV (great from my girlfriend s point of view...)! The beach was immaculate, soft sand and no rocks under feet, and we were the only people in the large pool. Breakfast was good, and the seafood we ate at a nearby beach was fantastic. Will be back!

A couple of glitches, as my Thai credit card wasn t accepted first time - don t know why. Prompt reply to my query on the night before we were due to arrive at the hotel fixed things, but we didn t get the email conformation in time to print it which caused a little more confusion at the hotel. Easy enough fixed with a phone call, though.

The rooms are large, clean and well furnished with a sea view and a balcony. Breakfast is a good mix of both Western and Asian, and food at the restaurant is tasty and reasonably priced. It s a great place to relax and to wind down, but not if you re looking for excitement, shopping or night life.

Good and prompt service

Purimas Beach Hotel, Rayong, Ban Chang
The Purimas was an unexpected surprise for us. Our family has lived in Thailand for a year and a half and has traveled extensively around the country. We live close to Rayong but I had no idea of this unknown treasure. The look and feel of Purimas is very similar to Phuket. The hotel was first rate. The breakfast delicious and the pool was bigger than any I had seen before. We played at the beach for hours splashing in the BIG waves. Unfortunately, on the last morning my son got stung by a small jellyfish, but I still have yet to find a beach in Thailand that does not have jellyfish. It is a perfect resort for a family. Great seafood restaurants just a short walk down the beach.

Excellent, quick and efficient!
