Johan 2009-10-30	Koh Ngai Thanya Resort, Trang, Koh Ngai An overpriced resort with extremly bad service at the restaurant. I will book Fantacy Resort or Ko Ngai Resort next time instead. Great location for snorkling (100 meters out), this is valid for all resorts at Ko Ngai.
Mikael Ahlberg & Matilda Kindgren 2009-04-23	Koh Ngai Thanya Resort, Trang, Koh Ngai We stayed at Thanya Resort for 3 nights, at the end of our 1 month journey in southern Thailand, and we had a wonderful stay! To start with the island of Koh Ngai is a true paradise island. Only a few hotels, a long sandy beach and crystal clear water. The resort is located on the best part of the beach, further down the beach there are a lot of rocks and stones in the water wich makes it almost impossible to swim there during low tide. But outside Thanya s the beach is perfect! Wonderful snorkling areas aswell. If you just swim a few meters from the shore there are beutiful coral reefs and a lot of colorful fishes. The staff at Thanyas are really nice. When we stayed there the low season was just about to start so there were only a small amount of staffmembers, but they were all super-nice and really made an effort for us to enjoy our stay! The only negative thing we can come up with about the resort was the breakfast wich was not brilliant, but still eatable. Dinner was really nice though! We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recomend Thanya to everyone (well, maybe not to the ones who likes to party all night long and running around in shops all days, but thats not what Koh Ngai is all about)! In our opinion Thanya resort is the most perfect paradise island resort and the by far best resort on the island of Koh Ngai!	Excellent, as always!

Kristian & Catrin 2009-02-11	Koh Ngai Thanya Resort, Trang, Koh Ngai We stayed at Thanya for 2 nights on our way to the south. Koh Ngai is really a peaceful and charming island, and the part of the beach closest to Thanya is definetly the best part on the whole island, so the location is great. The big problem with Thanya at the time of our stay was that the whole complex had a feeling of under construction over it. They seemed to have difficulties making the grass grow properly, for instance. The pool area wasnt so good at the time of our stay, the water in the pool had a greenish colour and there wasnt quite enough sunbeds for all. The cottage was cozy and with a very efficent AC. The bathroom was an semi-outdoor thai style version, with no hot water in the shower. The breakfast at Thanya was OK, sadly not a buffet, so a hungry person would probably be dissapointed. The by far best place to eat on the island is Coco Cottage, a 10-15 minute walk away. (and to be honest, thats where we wanted to stay, but it was fully booked...) The staff was really nice, helped us out in every way possible. Once they finish construction of the place, it s probably one of the best places to stay on the island.	Booking was great.
