We were very disappointed. It began on a \ left foot\ . We called a day before to change the pick up hour. We talked to Ms. Oiy. No one came to pick us up, she forget to update them. On arriving we asked for a discount since we are planning to stay for 5 days. They began arguing with us very rudly, made us feel like beggers, even though we paid a very high rate per night. Their attitude was very unprofessional. At the end we decided to stay. Throughut our stay the 2 receptionists who argued with us on the first day gave us an uncomfotable feeling and guilty looks every time we came to the recpetion. The shower that was outside were very disappointing especially for the high rate (photographed well on their website). The air conditioner leaked and we didn\ t feel comfortable complaining after been ther mal treatment. We needed to remind them them a couple of times a day (!) to clean up our room and receive their hostility at the reception. We will never come back to this hotel with their kind of attitude. We will also not recommend them. They probably forgot that after all we are guests and as a starter, making us feel welcome is a must.

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach
Excellent resort right on the beach front on quiet leela beach. we stayed in the deluxe seaview room which was very well equipped and excellent value for money. we have spent over eight months in thaland over the past nine years and i would have to say this was one of the best resorts with some of the best, most helpful and friendly staff we have seen. our only gripe was the large number of israeli people who were there at that time. They are often rude and inconsiderate, this is no fault of the hotel.

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach
Hôtel très agréable et assez chic. Son emplacement lui permet d être à la fois proche de l animation de la Full Moon Party sans en subir les nuisances sonores. Les prestations du spa sont exceptionnelles.

Excellente prestation. Chouchoute le chaland.

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach
Sarikantang was a fantastic place to say. It offered enough privacy away from the craziness of Had Rin Nai, but a close enough proximity to easily walk there. The hotel restaurant provided delicious meals and the hotel amenities like spa, internet and hotel services was top notch. Above all the service provided by the staff was incredibly polite and helpful. I would have no hesitation in staying at the Sarikantang again in the future.

The resort was great the facilites were wonderful the pool was however small and there were no phones or clocks in the rooms so it was difficult to know what time it was when we woke as we didn t bring phones. The geckos and toads/frogs that came into the bungalows got me a little sqeamish. We stayed in the hilltop deluxe oceanview first which was quite a climb to get to and had to change as it was becoming an ordeal getting up and down especially first thing in the morning or after a few drinks. We moved to one of the bungalows opposite the pool. Just as the first bungalow they had big gaps in the bathrooms so all kinds of creepy crawlies were able to get in. Something to bear in mind if you or your partner are anti-creepy crawly. The mosquitos are about alot and so I would definitely recommend taking some repellant and get some of those coil things from the town they re like incense that the repel the bloodsuckers! The town is interesting alot of restaurant/bars with huge tv s so that you can watch movies and series like friends & family guy to a few drinks etc. One place had bean bags and you could lay there on the floor which was super chilled out fo sho ! The food eveywhere was absolutely fantastic the Pad Thai was a big favourite and the burgers were great too! If you were looking for a little more relaxation the kind that Thailand and Amsterdam can offer there is a place called the Reggae Reggae bar that offers a little sumthin sumthin for all you Marley fans! Funny thing there was a kind of sign outside the bar with Bob Marley chilling out with a fat J someone had swiped it apparently some people who had had a few too many and made off with it to the Full moon party!! The Full moon party was a sight to see but I would keep your wits about you as there alot of people out there trying to make a quick Baht and rip off the many drunken full mooners! The restaurant at the resort was without a doubt the most friendly and relaxed place we d ever been. The staff were mostly Burmese and they all gave us great advise on where to go in town and one of the waitresses even took us to a great seafood grill was very sweet. I would seriously resommend you visit but be weary of Mossie and his many bloodsucking pals.
