Jerry Griswold 2009-11-19	Kata Garden Resort, Kata Beach Good location and nice tropical grounds with a couple of very good swimming pools. The only drawback is that the resort is getting a bit tired and in need of some renovation and upgrading of the bungalows, at least the one where I stayed.
Belinda Bartlett 2009-10-07	Kata Garden Resort, Kata Beach Kata Garden Resort really rates in terms of location, daytime ambience, and rooms, but if you are looking for a quiet restful sleep then don t go to Kata Garden Resort. The band started playing at 8 pm and while we were situated in a room a long way away, we continued to hear the band loudly until 1 am. Also, check the pathways during daylight. The pathway leading to the pool had a gaping hole in it, a six foot drop with nails protruding. Serious injury if you step this way in the dark.	Excellent booking service, providing the Resort at a rate I could not beat anywhere on the net.

Ofer Serfaty 2008-12-26	Kata Garden Resort, Kata Beach The room was VERY small. we orderd a Baby Bed Cot. they didnt have one ready and until 2 at night they didnt bring one. the service was very BAD and no one speak english there. very far from the beach not like promised and no sea view. the room was derty and old. all hotels in the area from the same kind cost 1/10 of the price for that hotel. we are VERY UN-HAPPY!!!
Vigdis Vestreng 2008-12-21	Kata Garden Resort, Kata Beach Kata Garden offers very nice, yet a bit well worn accomodation. We spent all together 5 night here over a period of a three weeks stay in Thailand (20.12.2008-10.1.2009), i.e. we used the hotel as a base camp for our diving and island jumping activities. Although a bit expensive for Thailand as such, I think the 2000 THB per night for a double bungalow is reasonable for the peak season and this area of Phuket. The location is ideal, with short way to both Kata and Karon beaches. The hotel area is very green, and some of the bungalows have a nice view overlooking the garden. We enjoyed the pool. The hotel has ofcource no sea view if that is your prefered option, but there is no problem with noise from traffic or other tourists. Except for the live music played every night, I had no problem imagine myself in a lovely garden looking at the stars from the terrace in the evenings.We agree with other comments I have seen that the live music from the restaurant is not what you want to be disturbed with in your bungalow at night. Try to get a bungalow as far from the restaurant as possible. The rooms were clean, and beds nice. In one bungalow we thought there were too many ants in th bath room. The security was very good. Breakfast was included and was rich and very tasty. We found the reception helpful and friendly. All in all this is a rather charming hotel in local style, contrasting many western options in the area.	Booking was very smooth, no problems with that.
Feifei 2008-09-26	Kata Garden Resort, Kata Beach This is such a good deal. The bunglow is spacious, it s hiding behind, you need to go through the zigzag before getting to your room, which is so private and cool. It s between Karon and Kata beach, thus you can choose where to go. It s one street away from the beach, thus is much cheaper, but we don t think sea view matters, as we spend most of the day at the beach, we just want to be relaxed in the room. There s live band everynihgt in the hotel, and a mini golf park in front of it. We enjoyed the stay.	The rate is better than the walk-in rate, even during the low season. We will use sawadee again.
Hattendorf 2008-02-20 until 2008-03-09	Kata Garden Resort, Kata Beach The Staff are always friendly and obliging. The Room was OK but the Bathroom not the best. The Mirror and Frame was very dirty and not easy to clean because same Paint was sprinkled. The Water was running very slow under the Shower and water-tap. I thing wit more water pressure will be all OK. This belongs only to the Room C014 respectively 2014. There they have to work for better appearance and sanitary. But for my next holiday i will remind of Kata Garden Resort again.	Booking was prompt and correct

Monica Hammarström 2008-02-14 until 2008-02-20	Kata Garden Resort, Kata Beach Location very good between Kata and Karon beach. Breakfast ok. We are not satisfied with the staff wich mostly were playing with each other. The staff in the reception were not professional and they speeks very little english, and understand nearly nothing. The cleaners forgot to put in daily bottle water, schampo and bathfoam. We were not satisfied with the cleaning. Dirty bathroom with a pool of water under the washstand. We hope that the direction will change rutines so the staff will be more professional and to take better care of this guesthouse. A great renovation will be needed. I am sorry, I can not recomended this place today for the money you pay for it.	Very good.
