Robert Scott 2009-12-16	Ya Ya Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Beach East Be aware!! when booking through this website!! On their hotel list it says Ya Ya Resort room 450 BHT inc breakfast this is not true. I was totally embarrassed when I turned up for breakfast in the morning when the unpleasant staff told me the free breakfast only for rooms with A/C. We knew the room wasn t going to be a villa due to the price but for a so called resort the room was very poor especially the bathroom which had leaking taps mould on the floor and walls and the paint peeling off the walls and door!! We had a mosquito net which had more holes in it than good material and when I asked the staff for a new one they said no so we got eaten alive by mosquito s and to top it off bed bug s. We had a couple of drinks while watching a movie and met a couple of people which was nice then the bill came and we were about to pay full price when two of the girls pulled out a 10% discount card given to all customers each day of stay at the resort and guess what we didn t get one of them and I had pre booked 3 night s accommodation and paid more than the girls did and had a totally worse room. One other guy we met got our room the day before we arrived at Ya Ya Resort and complained that the room was a disgrace so they gave him a better room. Luckily for him. Just a couple of other bad points, the end rooms unfortunately the washing room is underneath so the staff are their pretty early and don t seem to care about noise early in the morning or leaving the huge washing bags at the bottom of the stairs so you have to jump over them to get away. All and all we had the worst experience while travelling since we started 15 months ago, gutted as my 1st time to a beach in Thailand and I ve been waiting and dreaming of this for 10 years. This is the 1st time I ve written something bad about accommodation and really hope I don t have to again to warn other s.	Things need to be more clear about what you get for your money, we could have stayed elsewhere for much less and got the same if not better, I would suggest someone make an anonymous visit to check this place out for yourselves so you can advertise it properly or not at all.

Nice ambient, good price for that place, quality is good for thailand and price is good for that place (compared to other rooms there with a/c, hot shower, frigerator).
Gary Volk 2009-04-21	Ya Ya Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Beach East The location is unfortunately the only thing going for this resort. The service in the restaurant was not good. The internet booth was closed. You can hear everything going on in the other rooms and hall from your room, so we did not sleep for 3 nights. It is too expensive for what you receive. We lost power and water during our stay. I would not recommend this resort.

Medium accomodation look much comfort for any kind budget. Friendly staff & nice cozy surrounding with tree ( mini jungle ). The food also good & enjoyable price. Will go again next time to stay around for another adventure...	Its quit easy & usefull to understand for 1st time users.
Gino Granieri 2009-03-19	Ya Ya Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Beach East Compared to the service two years ago it was not so good anymore. Laundry was not working. Yaya becomes more and more a family hotel. Which is good, but not good for backpackers.	Booking functioned perfectly.
Mr & Mrs S Jackson 2009-02-11	Ya Ya Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Beach East Sorry to say, the surrounding is perfect, but the Hotel need work!! the dinning area floot needs replacing, the basins outlet pipe in the bedroom came of by just washing hands, ther was an unplessend smell about the room, so they moved us to another room, where thr shower head was so blocked, i had to sit with a took pick and open all the holes, and the basin was olso leaking. I allways book room with breakfast, i was told to pay for breakfast, dont know where the mis anderstanding came in. I think the Whole YA YA needs a all round renovation and upgrade. Next time i will go to the west side of Railay beach. Was not happy at all, and only stayed one night and left. Sorry the place did not do it for me!!!!

Sometimes noisy from the neighbourhood as it is a three-storey building...but what I suffered most is the bad smelling surrounding. However, the location is good, under the shade of trees and the restaurant is good.	I found it unfair to be asked for the whole stay to be payed in advance.
Michael Sauerbrey 2009-01-04	Ya Ya Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Beach East well, it s not the best place ever. we HAD to book it since there were only a few days left to New Year. got the spared fan room. it kind of feels like a prison cell. everything is quite simple, and low in standard. quite humid, too. one of the lowest prices at railay - and you get what you pay for (compared to other rooms / room prices in this resort). the resort is ok, too, but there are better ones around (nicer if you have money, or cosier if you want budget). the whole place is neither budget nor upscale, rather a family place, and thus, quite silent (or boring??). the only real good thing is that it s in the middle of everything (boats, bars at east railay, beach on west railay and pranang). would book again, if really needed, but if you have more time and options, you might seek for something else.	safe, simple, friendly, and very quick in responding
