Miss Jaruwan Maneechay 2009-01-04	The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach The hotel was very comfortable with excellent facicities. The staff were very helpful when we asked for anything we needed. Breakfastwas in the restaurant by the beach with excellent food and what a view! Prices were very reasonable and our room was only 30 metres from the beach. Overall I would recommend this resort.	Booking was easy fast and convenient.

John Jeffries 2008-12-24	The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach Nice bungalow hotel, however the site is large,from the high numbered rooms it is a long way to the beach. Reverse is true, low numbers to the road. Internal transport is needed. They refused to let me use a motorcycle on the internal pathways.	VERY PROFESSIONAL EXCELLENT.
Alikhan Kanapiya 2008-12-20	The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach Hotel is well located, but seems slightly overpriced. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not the best one you may have, but acceptable.	As usually perfect.
Michael Taylor 2008-11-21	The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach my second time staying here. All and all a good place for the price. The bar fridge was not always filled up everyday. Also the shower drain was slightly clogged. Will stay at the island again!	perfect as always

Hendrik Nel 2008-09-21	The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach We had a great stay at this lovely resort. Once again the service was excellent and the staff friendly and very helpful. The resort is idealy situated if you want to wander around Chaweng at night. I can not see how previous guests could comment that there is no beach or place to swim opposite the resort. We had several lovely swims right there. The pool is also an added bonus. The fact that accommodation consists of seperate bungalows, makes it very quiet and peaceful too. Unfortunately, there seems to be some pilfering - or an even bigger scam - going on amongst the restaurant and bar staff as prices on items vary from day to day and it is not due to Happy Hour . Be aware. Also, the restaurant is good for breakfast, but I would suggest you walk down to the beach, turn left, walk 50m to O.P. Bungalows and eat there. The prices combined with the miniscule portions - hence my suspicions of pilfering - at The Island Resort s Restaurant are just not worth it. Overall, we had an excellent stay.	Perfect - as were all our Sawadee bookings.
Yong Li Ting Yvonne 2008-09-19	The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach Nice place with excellent breakfast. Stayed at rm 107 initially, window faces pathway and curtains not wide enough to cover room from people walking past. Staff was kind enough to change our rm on the third day to rm 306 that had 2 rocking chairs instead of one. Pool was not that clean. Location of hotel fantastic.	Excellent and fast efficient service. Booked the rooms only the night before I departed.

Richard Ratcliffe & Katarina Brannelid 2008-09-08	The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach The receptionists were not very friendly to begin with. This is not a cheap hotel, we stayed at other hotels - same price - and got extremely good service. The room was very simple, although clean and provided a babycot - was broken and not safe though... - shower had holes in the floor. Smelly towels. Pool was lovely and the breakfast was really good. This hotel needs a massive renovation!! We didn t like it at all apart from the pool and breakfast. The beach restaurant at the hotel to the left is truly to recommand though. But if you are looking for an ok hotel, cheap, and don t care about high service this is an ok place.
