Henry 2010-01-02	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach I was fairly disappointed by the hotel for the following reasons: * Upon arrival at 4pm, had to wait another 45 minutes before the rooms were ready - we ordered two rooms and the rooms ended up being on either ends of the hotel * Would not give me two room cards which made it hard for us to go our separate ways * Charged 200 baht for a lost room card * Charged 650 baht for a lost towel which would likely be in the other room * Charged more for a mini bus back to the airport than it did for going to the hotel from the airport (1300 baht as opposed to 1000 baht) and it was late Little items like that added up and made the the experience bad.
Raquibul Alam 2009-12-04	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff went out of their way to fulfill all our requests. We were upgraded to a sea view Deluxe from a Garden view Superior on arrival. We found the room and facilities to be above par for the price we paid. The swimming pool is small but adequate and our 3-year old daughter found the kids pool to be a lot of fun. A note to the pool access room seekers: the pools that can be accessed from the rooms probably are not as clean as the main pool. The breakfast does not spoil you for choices but the view of the sea makes sure that your day starts off on the right note. The chef however is very friendly & accomodating and served us pancakes everyday after hearing how much my wife liked them (they were not a regular item on the breakfast buffet). There are sports bars nearby (Angus O Tools has big screens and a lively crowd) where you can catch all the important sporting events. We also recommend the Family Seafood Restaurant No.1 (turn right on Karon Circle and keep going till you see it on the right) for excellent fresh seafood at unbeatable prices. Overall, we found the hotel, the staff as well as the surrounding Karon beach area and people to be most welcoming. We will definitely consider going back to this hotel.	Excellent and easy to use.
Sonia Guadalupe Rivas 2009-12-03	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach We only stayed for one day. The room was very nice and clean. Most of the beds in Thailand are hard, the bed here was comfortable. The in-room safe wouldn t shut properly and they sent an engineer to fix it within 10 minutes. Because of our short stay, we didn t get a chance to even look at the pool, but it looked pretty inviting from the photos and we didn t get to enjoy the outdoor patio that every room had. There was a big night event across the street, but it was over by the time we returned to our room so the music didnt bother us. There is a great shopping area that had great prices and one shop at the front had better souveniers than most places. I expected the area to be less crowded, but it was a good thing. Taxi prices to next beach Patong was consistently 400 baht. After heavy negotiating, we were able to go for 250. We didn t get to try to breakfast but most places served the same American breakfast. I would visit the hotel again.	We were able to get the hotel booked about a week before we needed and was even able to remove the trip to the airport the day before. Sawadee.com was recommended by a friend who travels to Thailand regularly. We were happy with the service.
Johannes Bernhard van Solinge 2009-07-08	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach nice location,close to the beach; kind staff at the desk, and helpfull with some little problems at my room;description of the rooms not clear: just only the groundfloor is garden view , but at the 2nd,3d,and 4th floor the rooms are seaview , but only a few of them are really seaview! The breakfast is poor, and the food sometimes far from fresh. Overall: a rather good hotel, but asks for renovation; price/quality not good. The hotel next-door: Karon Princess-hotel looks better, and so are the prices overthere.	perfect as always!

Roy Eriksen 2009-02-21	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach Good standard hotel with excelent service, everyday. Room cleaning everyday and we got new bedclothes and towels everyday as well. Hard wooden chairs without pillow at the terrace are the only problem that we can point out. Perfect location, next to the sandy beach and a lot of resturants.

Tæt på stranden og ca. 10 minutters gåtur ind til butiksområdet. Dejligt pool-område. Store værelser og god altan. Kan kun anbefale stedet.	Super

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok too. Overall a good value for money and very close to the beach.	No hassles at all! The initial hotel we wanted was booked so we were given good alternatives
