Michael Vowles 2008-12-14	S.K. House Chiang Mai, City Center, Moonmuang Road Hotel was nice and good for the price. Not to be visted if you are travelling alone as the hotel has absolutely no atmosphere and common area is very quiet. Also, the hotel travel agent did try to rip me off continuously, which i d expect from one of the agents in the town, but not from my hotel.	Booking service was fine as always
M.M. Sluijter 2008-08-11	S.K. House Chiang Mai, City Center, Moonmuang Road I ve stayed in many many hotels in Chiang Mai - and almost all were nicer, quieter and more clean than the S.K. House. Good thing is the friendly staff and the swimming pool, although the pool is not too convenient when travelling with young children.	Very convenient - thank you very much!

House Chiang Mai, City Center, Moonmuang Road S.K House Chiang Mai is quite picturesque and situated in a very interesting part of the city.Close by were markets, temples, vegetarian restaurants and Thai massage clinics. We were disappointed that even though we had booked well in advance, and arrived late in the afternoon, our room was not ready. Our air conditioner did not work properly.The pool was full of some strange substance which made it unusable, and no explanation or warning was given.This place is really targeting young back packers.If you are mainly interested in partying, and don t mind being woken by loud voices in the night-this is the place for you! Apart for a couple of exceptions, the staff were indifferent.

House Chiang Mai, City Center, Moonmuang Road I stayed at SK guest house and found the room clean and adequate on arrival, however I stayed there 8 nights and the room wasnt cleaned at all during this time, including bedding. I asked for it to be cleaned on more than one occassion but was apparently ignored by staff. for information : The hotel since my last visit a year ago introduced a guest charge of 300bt per night if you wish to bring a guest.	excellent as usual

House Chiang Mai, City Center, Moonmuang Road Can t comment on SK house because they screwed up the 22 rooms I booked 12 months earlier and we had to go to their other hotel 20 minutes out of town, Riverview point resort. However, Pat, the owner of the Riverview was wonderful and made the best he could of a total shambles.The Riverview Point is a very nice hotel but 15 to 20 minutes from the action. Pat did supply free transport into town. Tks Pat.	Sawadee bookings were professional. I had no problems using my Visa card.

House Chiang Mai, City Center, Moonmuang Road great little spot - excellent value for money. room simple but clean and comfortable! great pool area - nice and quiet off street - easy walk to night bazzar. restaurant good, not happy if don t use their touring company - very expensive!!	no problems

Primary reason for going there was they advertise close walking to Night Market - but I d have to disagree with that. Other main reason was they have a pool - by the second day of our stay it was so green it couldn t be used. They neglected to tell us that fan rooms are only serviced every second day (if you re lucky). We had a pre-arranged free pickup from airport - they forgot us & that resulted in an hour s delay at airport while we tried to find out what was wrong, and then had to phone them. Breakfasts were really good, but that was the only bonus. Staff were mostly surly and disinterested. Wouldn t stay there again. Must be better around in that price range.	Excellent service, couldn t have done anything better. Would definitely use them again.
Thanthan Win 2005-08-02 until 2005-08-09	S.K. House Chiang Mai, City Center, Moonmuang Road I found that SK House is a place for wild and energetic teenagers. First of all, the cleaning staff members were very noisy early in the morning, yelling to one another from the balconies of different floors. At night, it was the guests turn. There was a swimming pool and the guests would splash in the pool and horsed around noisily until late at night. Also, they didn t just close the doors but banged them, drinking, talking, and laughing loudly with no regard for other guests. There may be signs all over for the guests to be quiet after a certain hour but there was no one enforcing these rules. The rooms were not cleaned regularly. Only a small soap was provided and the guests had to go and ask for toilet paper or towels. Even though we requested for their pick up service from the airport, there was no one picking us there. When we arrived at the guesthouse, they acted as if they had no idea that we had requested that service even though it was stated on the voucher that I had printed out -- that the service would be provided. All in all, I wouldn t recommend SK House to any of my friends. For that price, you can get a nice place like Top North Hotel, which is clean and quiet and has a nice pool where people really swim and let others swim.
