Shaalin Aluwihare 2009-04-13	Eastin Hotel Makkasan, New Petchburi Road The hotel was great value for money. I felt like I was in a five star hotel. The service was great. We did have difficulties with the toilets leaking on 2 separate occasions in 2 separate rooms. We stayed in executive deluxe rooms 2121, 2021, 2001, 2101 throughout our stay at the hotel. Both 2121 and 2021 had the leaking toilet problem; however, we were relocated to another room promptly and with no problem. I would recommend spending the extra money to stay in the executive deluxe rooms. We loved the exclusive 23rd floor breakfasts and free evening cocktails (you can order more than 1 per person). The privacy suits our tastes, and the personalised service is wonderful. Also, the free in-room internet is a nice touch, although a bit hard to navigate and read at times. It didn t matter though, as they offer a free business lounge for all guests on the lobby floor! Spa was wonderful, although pricy. But the ambience was great. Didn t use the pool, but did use the gym, which is small but more than sufficient. Had next to no info provided on the free 1-way shuttle service. But so close to the Pratunam markets (and 7-elevens), we just walked each day, and took a taxi to get anywhere else we needed. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family. I will stay here again!	The rate offered on Sawadee.com was unmatchable anywhere else. Even when we got to Bangkok we enquired on the best rate from the local travel agents - they could not even come close to matching what we paid on Sawadee. Even when booking an extra night with the hotel directly, they were stretching to offer us the same price for our class of room, but they did. Booking confirmation and finalisation took about 5-6 days, so make sure you leave yourself enough time. We were even able to ask for a very late check-in time via Sawadee.com as our flight didn t land in Bangkok until 2am. No problems whatesover. The information posted on this website, about the hotel, services, facilities and photos were all accurate and I felt completely satisfied with the booking service. Will use this service again. Great rates.
HONORE 2009-03-26	Eastin Hotel Makkasan, New Petchburi Road hotel very nice and modern and clean since renovation. But not enough quite(corridor and between the rooms). Free internet is a good idea but not speed like indicated and not easy to navigaute with included in keyboard mouse and color of the arrow not adapted (white) Breakfast diverse large and quality. Staff kindly and available.	Very good service

Daria 2008-08-17	Eastin Hotel & Spa Bangkok, New Petchburi Road Excellent hotel, will definitely stay once again on a future trip to Bangkok. We stayed there for 3 nights on a promotion rate in a deluxe double room. The hotel looks like it has been recently renovated, and we have once seen decoration works on one of the floors. The rooms are spacious enough with a wide window and a good view over Bangkok. Very comfortable, TV/Internet/mini-bar with some complimentary drinks (water), bathrobes and slippers are also provided.The hotel staff are very friendly. I d say a big plus is absence of smell in the room, esp. from smoking so typical for Bangkok hotels, they seem to have a good ventilation system. Some might say that the location is a bit remote from the center but it is only 5 min by taxi or 10 minutes walking as the hotel is located close to Pratunam and main shopping streets. Breakfast served multiple tastes, the choice of food was fine, would only wish they extend the breakfast hours until 11 a.m (was until 10.30 a.m). Overall I would highly recommend the hotel both to leisure and business travellers.	perfect, had absolutely no problems.

LAW Ka Ping 2008-07-31 until 2008-08-03	Eastin Hotel & Spa Bangkok, New Petchburi Road I went there in late July 08. The bedroom was well furnished, neat and tidy and I was given a King-sized bed. The breakfast was good and there was a great variety of food that you could choose. The gym was a bit small and there were only a few machines there. Staff were very friendly and they would give you help readily. Location is very near to the Siam region, it takes only about 10 minutes by taxi. I also received summer promtion, paid 2 nights got 3 nights. So, the price was really great. Will certainly go back to Eastin in the near future	Convenient and fast response. Will certainly use Sawadee in future.

My partner and I enjoyed using the gym facilities and roof top swimming pool.We were only a fifteen minute walk from the shopping hub.	We had no issues with the booking.

There is free pool, fitness center and sauna also there is internet center, spa salon but for the many. The rooms are clean and light. The staff is enjoyable. There is restorant with good choice meal. We were disappointed only with changed Thai style in decorate. It became more european not Thai. While we spent good time in Eastin hotel and we will go back there next time.
