John Sterry 2009-12-21	Raming Lodge Hotel & Spa, City, Loi Kho Road My comments below are based on staying in the deluxe double room . I recommend this as it comes with free wifi which is a real bonus. The hotel is about 15 min from the airport (The return trip to the airport is free of charge when you leave.) Excellent location right on the main bar strip on Loi-Kroh road but is far enough away to avoid the noise at night (ps. If you are looking for hundreds of bars like Patong or Pattaya, Chiang Mai is not for you) Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice and the staff went out of their way to be courteous and friendly. The minibar was free (non alcoholic) and the 2 slices of cake placed in the room each evening went down a treat. These little extras really made a big difference. Reading this back, it almost sounds like I work in the hotels PR dept. (LOL), but credit where credit is due. This was a very pleasant stay in a well run hotel. I also highly recommend a day at the Chiang Mai Thai Cookery School . Its only 990Bt and is a fun day out. The only minor negative was that the room did not have a balcony which I would have expected in a deluxe room. Didn t really bother me at the time but if a balcony is high on your check list, you should probably ask at booking time. Enjoy your trip to Chiang Mai.	Sawadee were excellent as usual.

R Ackerley 2009-06-22	Raming Lodge Hotel & Spa, City, Loi Kho Road This hotel was much better than we expected,They gave a welcome drink,a fresh fruit basket, breakfast every day, free mimi bar (non alcoholic)The room was large the bed was a super king good lighting and very clean (sheets changed every day).The hotel was within walking distance from the night and sunday markets,bars and restaurants (try the corner bar by the moat)I would recommend this hotel. Pros...Heaps Cons...None .	Excellent

Steven Paul Fraser 2009-04-17	Raming Lodge Hotel & Spa, City, Loi Kho Road this hotel is in a good location, however it is in need if some updating the room furniture is very worn (wardrobe doors not closing properly etc).	great as always i have used this system a few times before and will keep using it for any other visits i make to Thailand
