helen barrett 2009-01-03	River Kwai Botanic Garden, Kwai Noi When i booked this hotel I had no idea just how far away it was from Kanturburi or how difficult it would be to get to, whether you come by train or bus its a full days journey to get there from Bangkok. The mile walk to the pier which you have to do if you come by bus in blistering heat just about finished us off. The hotel itself is basic, no heating, no hot water, but its pretty and the location is stunning. The all inclusive was a nice surprise so actually its good value. The food wasnt good, rice with pick and mix food, same for lunch and dinner. No choice you get what you are given. The local dancing isnt that great idea so pass on that one. The trips were the most expensive we experienced in Thailand so we didnt do them, about three times the price per person which was a great shame. Any more than two nights and your going to go crazy here. We came by bus and went back by train, the death railway was great and humbling, but they are going to charge you 500 bht taxi to get there. The extras here were expensive and there is no choice, its too remote to go else where.
Bruno Van Bost 2007-06-18 until 2007-06-20	River Kwai Botanic Garden, Kwai Noi We stayed at the River Kwai Botanic Garden Hotel for 2 nights. Location very nice, special to sleep in a house on the river. Room very basic, however with airconditioning so that s wonderful. Staff very friendly and helpful. It s far from the city Kanchanaburi, in the middle of the jungle. The room was not very clean, lot of dust. Altogether, we enjoyed our stay and it was very special. Good value for money. The food at the restaurant was nice.	No problems with the booking.

For us it was no problem, because we stay for 17 days in Thailand and we relaxed for one day in this hotel. In the evening there are many mosquitos and they like to fly in the meal at the restaurant. If you stay there don t forget your Lotion against mosquitos.	No problems - everything O.K.
Pamela Clow 2006-02-13 until 2006-02-15	River Kwai Botanic Garden, Kwai Noi The hotel was fine. A little more rustic than what we were expecting, but overall quite delightful. It was a little further out of town than what we would have liked. Made it a little more costly to get taxi service. It is a great place for group bookings. The service itself could be improved.	Booking service was great. We used the service throughout our whole trip for various bookings.
