Corinne BRUNET 2008-12-26	Panviman Chiangmai Spa Resort, Mae Rim This Hotel was simply and totaly the BEST that we had during our one month trip in Thaïland! Delightfull,peacefull and so beautifull for the eyes. The service is exactely what you expect. There is a wunderfull spa complexe with all what you need, in a serenity atmosphere.(Just check if they have a heater in the massage room if you are there in winter time) We had a great Christmas eave meal,with a delicious Starter Buffet made for your taste but also for your eyes!Live Music was also there, the flying baloons had also their place (a Thai tradition which says that you let all your sorrows and problems fly away) It was a wunderfull Christmas. Rooms are perfect: Big, clean, all the confort you need is there. You have a nice view through the valley . I would love to go back there and stay even longer. Highly recommanded to those who look for a peacefull atmosphere as well as proximity from different possible tours, discovery or activities. Simply GREAT!	Very good, and so easy!
Jakub Minarik 2008-08-30	Panviman Chiangmai Spa Resort, Mae Rim We stayed in the superior room for 3 nights. The hotel is located around 50 minutes by taxi from the airport or the city centre. So it means 500-800BHT to get there. If you decide to stay in this hotel, it would probably be because you want to escape from civilisation, city and day-to-day life. Pros: The hotel resort is beautiful. The garden around, the pool and spa are very carefully maintained and designed to every little detail. The staff is very helpful and nice. Reasonable level of English. Very close from the hotel there is an elephant farm, an orchid farm. The hotel is in the middle of nature though several farms are located nearby. For someone however it can mean the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. We enjoyed the quite and peaceful time there. Food good, price rather higher than in the city centre but reasonable. Cons: The room had quite thin walls and we heard our neighbours even though they were not noisy. I can imagine we would be very irritated by this should the neighbours stayed there longer than one night or in a high season when the hotel capacity is full. I think for such a nice and luxurious hotel, this should not happen. The hotel management should have invested more into a sound insulation. Spa treatments were surprisingly expensive however of a very good quality (We had just one treatment because of the price.) Generally good value for money (we paid 2.800 per night/superior room). We recommend this hotel.	Excellent as always
