" Experience a taste of Thailand, by the sea at Cinnamon " Cinnamon is situated on the Laem Nan headland at the northern end of Lamai Beach, adjacent to the Renaissance Hotel. The setting is very peaceful and relaxing, with views across the bay to Lamai, and on a clear day you can sea the mainland.
The hotel rooms, reception and the restaurant, Cinnamon Kitchen are at the back of the site and the gardens run down to the sea. Next to the beach are the swimming pool and pool bar.
The concept was to create a small individual Hotel, with all the rooms having an individual look, with a TV and DVD in every room, a library of DVDs, CDs, and books for the guests to use, original artwork in every room, a restaurant serving the best of Thai food, and a relaxed atmosphere, as if visiting the owner home.

We try to maintain an "environmentally friendly" approach using solar water heating, collecting rain water for garden use, and re-cycling where possible

Cinnamon Kitchen: The owner Vatcharin Bhumichitr is a well known Thai food author and has restaurants in London and Miami. Cinnamon kitchen serves the best of Thai food including a large selection of vegetarian food. The breakfasts are European or Asian, cooked to your order and served in your room, if you wish.
The restaurant is open from 7a.m. to 11 p.m. with room service available. Snacks are served at the pool bar along with a full bar and cocktail list. Where available we try to use organically grown food some of which we grow in the garden.
The Cooking Sala: Vatcharin Bhumichitr will hold occasional cooking classes in the Sala which will include trips to the local markets and learning to cook some of the local specialties as well as the basics of Thai food. The swimming 12 metre swimming pool and pool bar are next to the beach with plenty of areas for sun-bathing, or relaxing in the shade in a Sala, eating a snack, sipping a cocktail or just taking in the view. Safety: There is 24 hour security, the resort is fully equipped with fire equipment with the staff trained in its use.
