Aiyapura Resort & Spa, Klong Son Bay
This is a lovely hotel, worthy of its five stars. Excellent breakfast with wide variety. Good sized rooms with coffee/tea facilities and fruit and chocolate delivered every day, as well as TV and DVD facilities and balcony. Kind and helpful staff. Lovely pool which though freeform is both good for playing as well as exercise as it is big and has mini-pools for kids attached. Small but clean beach, good facilities to do other things - trampolining, swinging, bikes (though these not in great condition!) Very lush surroundings. Restaurant has very good food but too expensive compared to other local options (but then that is why we went out most nights!) Had a lovely holiday - thoroughly recommend

Everything worked fine. Questions answered promptly

Very nice resort and the Strand Villas where we lived in were excellent! Very much space for two people :) The food at Christmas Eve buffet = excellent! What kind of food! The only thing that we didnt like were the sea bed at the beach, it were very muddy and poor. I will recommend this resort and the strand villas!

Smooth and without problems! I like the comments from other visitors.

Absolutely fantastic. We were treated like royalty for the whole time we were there. The staff and the whole set up made the days we spent there such a pleasure. I would not hesitate in recommending this resort to anyone and it is one place we have vowed to return in the future. The food was excellent, they have a great gym, and an on site shop where you can buy drinks etc at reasonable prices. The shuttle service into town works well also and if you do want to get back in the evening they will pick you up or it is easy to get a taxi for 300 Baht. Overall we would rate this 10 out of 10.

Excellent

Absolute paradise. We live in Bangkok and were very pleased to find such a place still exists which is still so beautifully isolated from the hustle bustle of normal tourist resorts. Highly recommendable, especially in the low season !! Great value for money, great staff. Only one issue, which we always encounter ... background western pop music at breakfast [which they kindly switched off when we asked] and live western music at dinner. No need guys ! This is Thailand ... we want to sit and listen to the jungle noises and sea, not Elton John covers.

Excellent. First time, and will use you again

Excellent. This is my sixth trip to Thailand but never I felt so comfortable as in Aiyapura Resort & Spa, Koh Chang. A relaxed atmosphere, a beautiful suite next to the sea and an excellent food have made my stay very pleasant. The staff is excellent, both at the reception as services, always pleasant and helpful. Very good organization in general throughout the complex, whit many details for the guests. Will back the next time.

Perfect.

Very lovely hotel. Nice and friedly staf. The only ting that we can complain about is that the freebus to White Sand beach had so few departures.

Easy to use thailandsguiden, a lot of information how to find hotels and easy to book hetels.

After originally booking for 5 days we ended up staying for 14 days it was so good. The resort is Big, uncrowded and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Cannot fault the accomodations or the restaurants, Beach is poor but we knew that, there s a free shuttle bus to white sands several times a day, All the Island tours and attractions picked up from the resort and its location at the top of the Island allowed us to explore the island in any direction. Absolutely fantastic, the best two weeks we have spent in S.E.Asia and will recommend it to all and will return when we can. *****

good as usual, no problems, I would have preferred to pay a deposit rather than forced to pay 100% over the internet for something I wasnt sure about.

The hotel had all we needed to relax. Clean, friendly staff (some not too good at english),excellent bungalow with connected rooms close to the restaurant. Great pool. Occasionally there was a sewer smell due to the environmentally friendly system. No big waves for the kids to play in since the hotel was situated in a lagoon. Secluded, but possible to 15 mins with a taxi to shopping and other eating places. Close to the ferry.

No problems at all!

The resort was excellent. It is in a quiet and more secluded location. The livelier beach areas are not far away and easily accessible. There is no beach to speak of at Aiyapura, but just use one of their kayaks to cross a narrow body of water and there is a good beach for hunting for shells. The pool is uniformly shallow, nice for children.

No problems (and Sawadee had the best rates).
