Professor Michael Pitt 2008-08-06 until 2008-08-10	AKA Resort Hua Hin, Hua Hin Area, Hin Lek Fai A generally good hotel which probably sounds better in principle than it is in reality. The villas leave you very isolated from the rest of the hotel and the outside baths and showers are not as appealing as they sound. It would of course be possible for some people to love both of these aspects! Some parts of the rooms were a bit tired looking. If you are old, infirm or like to have a few drinks at night beware the stepping stone entrances to the villas. The main pool and general service is good. The hotel provides a shuttle to Hua Hin (10 mins) but even in low season this fills up quickly. The local taxis are expensive by Thai standards (3/400 baht) so a meal in Hua Hin quickly trebles in cost. You can get eggs and rice right outside for 25 baht of course. We probably would return which I guess is the main question.	Efficient.

I had a great time in the super clean private pool. However, I wish to recommend that they should have a tick list to remind them what was ordered for breakfast. For the 2 days there they manage to forget some think or another in the breakfast set. The other think that confused us was that in your website - AKA One-bedroom deluxe Pool Villa complimentary 1 Spa Massgae (1hour)for 2 persons per stay . When we enquired about it they informed us that our package did not include said service!
Roy Yu-Ching Lo 2007-10-29 until 2007-10-30	AKA Resort Hua Hin, Hua Hin Area, Hin Lek Fai A transquile and lovely resort. Definitely good for people seeking serene luxury. Yet the location is a little bit hard to find.	perfect and nice.
Gary Lye 2007-08-09 until 2007-08-13	AKA Resort Hua Hin, Hua Hin Area, Hin Lek Fai This is my second stay at the AKA Resort Hua Hin this year. The drive from Bangkok is enjoyable and both directions took around 3 hrs. The facilities are very good,staff very friendly and helpful, and food/service great. This is an excellent place to relax and treat oneself to great spa treatment. This time I also hired the hotel bus for some site seeing. I ll be back.	Sawadee booking service has always responsed promptly and always delivered against expectations.
Allan & Cherylin Riddick 2007-06-03 until 2007-06-09	AKA Resort Hua Hin, Hua Hin Area, Hin Lek Fai The AKA Resort at Hua Hin is a truly amazing place. If you are a stressed executive or business person this is the place to go. It is completely villa style resort with your own pool and the resort is peaceful, relaxing and we thoroughy enjoyed our stay. The staff were great, very friendly and always helpful. We would recommend the AKA Resort as a place to go and forget about the outside world, we certainly did. The food and service was great and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Only downfall is that it is a ten minute drive to town and you have to rely on the resort shuttle bus service. Check out the website, truly a great resort.	Quick to repsond to our queries and staff were very informative.
Gary Lye 2007-04-05 until 2007-04-08	AKA Resort Hua Hin, Hua Hin Area, Hin Lek Fai Having come out of a hectic work program in Bangladesh I was looking for somewhere to really relax. The AKA Resort certainly delivered. The resort opened in April 2006 and is in immaculate condition. I had a pool villa with spa which had it own lap pool. Room, facilities, food and service were all first class. Only disappointment was to find I needed transport (shuttle bus) to go anywhere from the resort. This wasn t a real problem but I had thought from the website that the beach was close. In summary a top resort for a real chill out . Re: getting there from Bangkok, I hired a car from my Bangkok Hotel and the trip was a pleasant 3 hours.	I ve used Sawadee for my booking on many occassions. It is effortless and reliable. I always have quick responses to any questions.
Ms. Barbara Deurloo 2007-02-11 until 2007-02-13	AKA Resort Hua Hin, Hua Hin Area, Hin Lek Fai We ve only spent 2 nights here but I think this is one of the most beautiful places to stay! Away from the bad and angry world! It is quite expensive to stay there, but ever so great and quiet! We had a great villa with private infinity pool, you should look at their website, it is even better than the photos show you, at least that is our opinion. The food (B,L,D)is also magnificent!! We arrived on sunday afternoon and it was very quiet, very few people there. We had our last 2 days of our trip there and we could use the rest? (after almost every -other-day moving from one place to another for almost 2 months, Sydney, NZ, Bangkok). It/We felt very decadent. The staff was so friendly, I really loved them all! And the service was also perfect! If possible we are going back there!	I wouldn t remember, sorry, my boyfriend made all the reservations. I didn t hear him complain ;-)
Philip Greenwood 2007-02-09 until 2007-02-15	AKA Resort Hua Hin, Hua Hin Area, Hin Lek Fai We arrived in Hua Hin after a long drive form Bangkok airport and had a little difficulty finding the AKA, we had to ring the hotel to get directions. Once in the resort it was all worthwhile,the hotel is absolutly beautiful. We had a pool villa which was fantastic. the staff are first class and nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant is the best, if a little pricey. We had a wonderful time at the AKA the only thing is that it is a little way out of town (shuttle bus runs every hour but you have to order it and let them know what time you want to come back.)If you are looking for a quiet holiday away from all the hustle and bustle I would reccommend the AKA	No problems booking with sawadee. Booked on the internet and all OK when we arrived.
