Ping Buri (former Paddy Field Rooms & Su, Muang (Suandok Gate) The room a little old but was very clean. The triple room for my parents & sister were spacious and was comfortable for the price value. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Only one staff (male) working in the afternoon shift does not understand English and no so helpful. The staff who served us breakfast was fantastic & great service, however not much of breakfast choises. There is only 4 different set of breakfast which we ordered the same set each morning. (the others were too spicy or rice dish). The night Bazaar is too far away to walk. It s NOT 10mins walking distance but 10mins by tuk tuk or red car (cab) which cost Bht20 per person. Will come back if we visit Chiang Mai again. People is nice at the hotel and getting transportation is very convinience. |
As always Sawadee provides the best rate, user friendly, fast and efficient. Will not hesitate to use this service in future! Good Job! |

Ping Buri (former Paddy Field Rooms & Su, Muang (Suandok Gate) Ping Buri was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food that was served was great. There are some food shops down the road. To get to the night markets, it was just a 20-30Baht red taxi ride away!! (all areas in the center of town are accessible at a similar rate). |
Was easy and efficient. |

Ping Buri (former Paddy Field Rooms & Su, Muang (Suandok Gate) Very friendly staff, they will do everything to help you. They offer good tours around Chian Mai. Room are simple but clean and have enough space. It s a bit far from the main center, but ofcourse you can get a tuk tuk into town. I would def come again! |
As good as always! |

Paddy Field Hotel, Muang (Suandok Gate) This hotel has both good and bad points. On the plus side, the rooms are clean and spacious, the air-conditioning works well and the staff are helpful. The decor is somewhat sparse with concrete floows in the common areas etc. We had booked a de luxe room but as this was at the front of the hotel it was very noisy. We asked to be moved to an inside room, which was much nicer and quieter (doesn t seem worth paying the extra for a de luxe room). The hotel is on the opposite side of the old city to the night market and while it is an easy walk through the old city itself, you need to get a tuk tuk to and from the night market. There are some nice cafes and restaurants near the hotel as well. I think that overll it was good value for money and we had no complaints at all - just don t expect anything too luxurious and be prepared to walk a bit to get to the sights. |

Paddy Field Hotel, Muang (Suandok Gate) This was an average hotel. The staff was nice and friendly. The rooms were large and clean, but were a bit dark and dingy and dated. The bathroom had some ants. Not sure we would stay here again. |
Sawadee was great. We booked this hotel along with another hotel and we were happy with the booking service. |

Paddy Field Hotel, Muang (Suandok Gate) This place was very dissapointing. It is located right on the busiest road in Chaing Mai, you hear traffic wizzing by all night long. The rooms are ok, but nothing special at all. The photos on the web site are very misleading. They show a beautiful water garden, when actually all that is there is a 3-foot by 6-foot garden pool. They say you are within walking distance of the night market, maybe so if you re a marathon runner. The night market is on the opposite side of town and is a 100-baht cab ride away. |

Paddy Field Hotel, Muang (Suandok Gate) The hotel is good for the money. I would give it a 3 out 5, with the size of the room being the best and the bathroom being the worst part of the experience. The staff was great and they made my first trip to Chiang Mai very enjoyable. |
I have used this booking service many times and will use it again. |

Paddy Field Hotel, Muang (Suandok Gate) We had a clean and spacious suite with a view of the rooftop garden and could see the sun reflecting from the golden chedis at the Doi Suthep temple in the distance. The staff was friendly and accomodating. A bit of a walk to the night bazaar and riverside area, but plenty along the way to make it an enjoyable walk. |
Smooth, effortless and efficient. |

Paddy Field Hotel, Muang (Suandok Gate) It would have been a great deal in this rate if we didn’t have two little kid with us (18 mths and 21 mths old) because - The driver didn’t wait for us at the airport eventhough we had earlier paid booking. Waited for them for an hour and also had to call the hotel before getting the driver (after we exhausted from the long journey from 8am until arrived at 8pm) - We had to pay for the spared bed (300 baht/night) because they didn’t have the baby cot as Sawadee confirmed before we arrived, so that was un-expected cost. And paid for another 30 baht/day for the safe box (not free) - Inside the room, no kettle, no mini-bar, so no hot water to make milk or coffee (so they had a great help by giving us the electric kettle (I didn’t mind it was old and falling apart as long as it is still in use), great help from the reception girl.. - Inside the toilet, we don’t mind not to have the bath tub in this type of budget hotel but there is no plug to stop the water escaping from the sink (when we need the to soak the bottles and bath the little one), and there was no hot water the sink either. We asked them for help so they gave us the buffet tray…great help. - Outside the room door was near the staircase and ground floor level windows (so children can fall down from 3rd or 4th floor to 1st floor, not so safe for little on who loves to climb. - There was no porter or bell boy to help unless we really needed help or request. For the breakfast, there were only 2 choices everyday – American breakfast or porridge which was quite tasty. For the location, it was good but not so convenient for a great meal or shopping, there is a very great massage place next door…very very good. Staff was also very helpful to give the information when we wanted to go somewhere. The traveling agent and driver counter in the hotel were great service in reasonable price. As I said, if we don’t have two little kids, it would have been easier to stay in this hotel because it is a good deal (no need spared bed, kettle, tray, hot water, or safety concern). We had a great time in Chiangmai this time, I definitely come back here again and if I don’t have kids with me next time, I don’t mind to stay in Paddy Field… |
It was smooth, no problem, great |
