Nice little place. We have to say that we really liked this place, it´s small(just 9 rooms) but very nice. The staff was very freindly and the food and breakfast was very good also. If we return to Bang Tao we will book this hotell again. //Lars & Maria

This hotel is small but clean. However, the staff is not very professional and are VERY disorganized. It is very expensive for the service that you get. No one is awake before 8am, no breakfast available, or taxis to get to the airport. A 2 star hotel, at 4 star prices. Try to avoid high peak season here, the beach is very crowded. It must be nicer in low season. In conclusion, I would not recommend this hotel.

Sawadee booking service was great! Very helpful and quick to respond. Thank you very much!

“We, two young couple, stayed at blue garden between the 20 and 29 Dec 08. We have been working and travelling in Asia for several years. We have been all over Thailand. Usually we don t post negative post but this we thought we should. The resort has not more than 9 rooms around a nice swimming pool. The breakfast was good and staff very useful and friendly (typical Thai). The rooms are well furnished with mini bar, new furniture and 32inch LCD TV but they are very small. On both rooms booked, the drain couldn t keep up with the low pressure shower. The shower was next to the toilet with no separation (common in Asia), so you had to stand in 2-3cm of water for 2hours after the shower if you wanted to use the toilet. In one of the restroom, half of the sink counter was missing and poles barely standing. The room lacked privacy since it has only one Patio door so it s either curtain closed or you are exposed to the swimming pool, restaurant and street. For some reason, the manager on duty didn t speak Thai and could barely speak English. One of us speaking fluent Thai and another fluent French helped in our case. We had to take matters in our own hands when we asked to have our bed sheet changed after the 4th day (!?) and also chasing for pool towel. To our surprise, we found one morning a notice of a 1500baht/person compulsory Christmas dinner, which we refused to assist. The restaurant is good but slightly more expensive even if it lacks to offer the view and ambiance of the surrounding restaurant. Finally we found the management extremely greedy chasing us after the check out for a 40 bath bottle of water. You would think at that healthy price they would at least provide “10 baht” daily courtesy water bottle. We were expecting a lot more for 4800bath/night. Oh, be prepared to pay a 4% fee if you paid with your credit card. Unfortunately, we had pre-paid our stay and couldn t cancel our room, a mistake that we will never do again! As we were there on the Peak Season, we paid a Peak price. The usual room charge of 3,20 Bhat is easier to Stomach although in our opinion still slightly expensive. Though, we would probably go back there at 1/2 of the price.”

Sawadee - Good Service although I am not a fan of paying so much of a deposit in advance. I am not sure if this was only for Blue Garden or if it is the same with all reservations through Sawadee.

Warning: Nice hotel but one one day when we comed from the beach, they had placed 2 glassed and flowers on top of the fridgerator and a small bottle of champagne, we thought it was complimentary, a nice gesture from the hotel, but when we weare checking out they wanted almost 4000 bath for the tiny bottle. We felt it was just and uggly way to milk tourist from there money!

This is an adorable little family-run hotel. All of the staff are very sweet and friendly. They gladly answered all of my questions. It is on a very quiet stretch of the beach, perfect for deep relaxing. The only semi-negative part was that they don t speak terrific English although they do speak French.
