Tilus Esko 2008-09-22	Samui Lagoon Bay, Chaweng Beach A good hotel near the beach. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Miss them already. Bungalows very tidy and plenty of space. Locking feels a bit unsafe but good hotel security so no worries. My best thanks for all staff and hope to see you all again soon.	Easy and fast.
Phillip 2008-09-06	Samui Lagoon Bay, Chaweng Beach Nice bungalow, shame about the service. The bungalow I stayed in was a very good size, clean and with its own safe. Down sides would be the little overhang roof on the balcony which was unhelpful when it rained, and the single push button lock on the outside door which made me feel insecure. When I arrived I was greeted by a very friendly manager who ended up being too eager and pushy for me to spend my time and money in her resort (kept talking about that evenings BBQ seafood on the beach). The meal I did eat there was not great - soggy cool prawns in the pad thai and only a hint of mango in water in what was meant to be juice. On the second night I had an issue to discuss with the manager but she avoided me and left very poor communications with the security man. The next day she also used staff to tell me nonsense about not being there, and it was the afternoon before I was able to see her. I have never been treated with such disrespect as a guest in a hotel or resort. Also, the manager seems to be the only person able to take responsibility to assist with important issues, since most of the staff did not appear to understand the things I tried to communicate. The manager is very happy to welcome you but I felt the resort was more interested in finding ways to make money than providing helpful service (which in turn would lead to people spending more money). The treatment I received made me feel very awkward and anxious during the remaining time I stayed. There are much more friendly and reasonable bungalows nearby. I found a great place in Kings Garden.	Excellent.

ELEFTHERIA CHARARI 2008-08-29	Samui Lagoon Bay, Chaweng Beach The hotel has a nice setting by the beach, but as it s a bit remote on the south, you would need a taxi to the main area where all the bars/restaurants are (~2km). We stayed on room #C3, and had the unexpected experience of someone coming in our room while we were sleeping (4.30 am) and stealing our bags - we were lucky enough to find them later on by ourselves, dropped off in the hotel gardens, but all money was gone (400euro) - so great security! There was also a mix-up with our transport back to the airport on check-out, as the receptionist could hardly speak any English. Apart from that, nice hotel facilities and friendly staff. Just keep your money in the safe box at all times (even when you are sleeping!)

Francesco 2008-08-02 until 2008-08-22	Samui Lagoon Bay, Chaweng Beach for this price zou can not claim. As we just take the oceanview bungalow we do not know how it is with the bungalows in tha back. It is the 2nd time that we are there and allways for 21 days. The hotel ins nice and people a friendlz the onlz thing is the the staff at the bar is too young and shoud have a basic education have to serve the customer. The TV is almost switched ON and too loud, it is also a pitty that from APRIL 2008 the LIGHTHOUSE BAR on the beach just next to the hotel has opend an in the 3 weeks we had to listen almost 1000 times the same 3 CD s on a volume that does not primt you to read a book or to have a little nap on the beach.	very good ean easy to manage
Andrea R 2008-07-31	Samui Lagoon Bay, Chaweng Beach Nice location at the beach. Nice and spacious bungalows. We paid for one night when booking and on arrival reception tried to make us pay the rest BEFORE showing us the room etc. We had to pay on arrival which is really ridiculous. If we hadn t paid the rest on arrival we would have changed hotel the next day. The doors to the bungalows are terrible! We stayed in a deluxe garden view bungalow and the doors don’t close tightly and can easily be broken into. At the top of the door there was a huge gap which allowed all sorts of small animals in at night. The safe is really old. The reception gives you the combinations and instructions which don’t tell you everything! Sometimes you get a beach towel in your room instead of a shower towel when you should have both, and you constantly have to ask. The pool is tiny, not like the web photo. The restaurant is disgusting with ants crawling over your food and the staff are too young. They sit around with binoculars spying on the girls in the pool or beach. The beach doesn’t have enough umbrellas for all the beds. It is at the bottom of Chaweng so the centre is quite a walk but nice. There is a really good bar/restaurant next door for breakfast! We booked a pickup service with reception to take us to the airport in the morning – It never arrived!	good

The only thing is that the staff on the bar is too young and have not any cloue how to serve or behafe, very often you have to remind them that tere are not there to eatch TV on a high volume and also not to make jokes about the customers. Ther is alo no control is people from outside occupy the sun chaires from the lagoon bay. But is is clean and friendly ther and it is the 3rd time that we are there :-)	excellent booking service
