Saravana Kumar Paulraj 2009-05-25	Wang Thong Hotel Maesai, Chiang Rai I got the same same room that I stayed 10 months before. Some renovations is going on - so could hear the sounds always. Room service - good. Neatness - good. Bathroom & Toilet - Good. AC - good. All good. Thanks Wang Thong hotel. Will definitely stay if I come there again.	Wonderful. Replies comes more faster.
KUNIYOSHI 2009-04-20	Wang Thong Hotel Maesai, Chiang Rai This hotel is located near the border of Myanmar and very convenient to stay. But around here, if you want to take a meal, there are only outstanding restaurants. (actually some restaurant is exist but no customers in there) I think this is good situation for foreigner to enjoy Thai local life style. And further in Myanmar, at Tachleik, my first impression is dusty atmosphere.
John Lawrence 2009-01-01	Wang Thong Hotel Maesai, Chiang Rai First impressions were great, however, at a closer look we realised that this hotel was of a budget accommodation standard. The toilet would not flush properly, the 2 lamps on the wall were about to fall off and various light bulbs were not working. The power point behind the bedside table was exposed and could be considered dangerous. The breakfast( eggs were cold and the toaster was not working properly ) At least they had lifts whereas all the other hotels we stayed in we had to carry our belongings up steep stairways.	The booking service was excellent and no mistakes were made.

The room is in medium level, because the floor has a difference between inside the room and outside, it make me hurt on my ankle till now. It s good that is near the border and comfortable.	I like this method, it s very easy and convenient. I impress on this service and will use in next trip.
Martin Willem Schmid 2008-10-02	Wang Thong Hotel Maesai, Chiang Rai Quite chinese hotel. AAaa little old, but ok at a high season price of 950 Baht per night. A great hotel if you are in Mae Sai for a Visa run, or visiting the golden triangle. The food was good too and they have a clean pool. Funny thing was, that the phone in the bathroom dated some approx. 40 years back. Looked russian? Anyway, i enjoyed my stay at The WWWWwang Tong hotel in Mae Sai, which is Thailand most northern city.	Res24asia.com was fine as usual. I will book through them again. Fast and great rates.

Ting Chooi Wan 2008-06-11 until 2008-06-14	Wang Thong Hotel Maesai, Chiang Rai The hotel was very run-down and dirty! No good hot water shower as it was all clogged up! Breakfast were miserable ala-carte style! Perhaps being low season there was very little maintanace and care.	Booking was fast and effecient. There was no problem with booking service but the hotel needs some reival!
Bangert 2008-03-12 until 2008-03-13	Wang Thong Hotel Maesai, Chiang Rai Now we were on the move 7 weeks in SO Asia and have spent the night accordingly at many hotels. We cannot recommend the Wang Thong Hotel. The rooms wore out, the breakfast poor and the staff al little cooperatively. Again we will not spend the night at this hotel any more.	Perfect. No problems.
Suchada Yennan 2008-03-09 until 2008-03-10	Wang Thong Hotel Maesai, Chiang Rai I book Baht550 hotel room, and it turned out to be a fan room without any advanced informed. The bed cover got stained, the room smell humid. The fan room is opposite to air-conditioned room as the building is in L shape, the entrance to fan room is dirty, clutter and being used as storage for hotel supply. First room checked in does not have water, so hotel has to offer a new room. The hotel staff kept on emphasising on fan room and air conditioned room when there is any contact, breakfast was running out and taken long to replenish. The breakfast setting in the hotel was dirty, as some sauce finished. customer use folk to take the sauce from the bottle out left on the table, which made a mess and look disgusting. The juice is not fresh juice, instead it was like cordial type juice.	It should at least mention type of the room for the price we pay for, as we can not know what type of room when we were searching.
