Good location , near town centre & beach side .Hotel & swiming poor look a bit old but still ok .Breakfast no so bad but the food no change . Its a good hotel for relax ( quiet ). Will come back here again . Hope hotel can improve & do some renovation

Nice swimming pool, excelent location. Nice breakfast and service. Room not too big and need renovation. Reception was very helpful but it was hard to understand their English.

HORRIBLE!~!!!!!!
i would NEVER stay there again!
rooms smelled, small, HORRIBLE SHOWER!
the breakfast room smelled like a shark died in there the night before!

Stayed there from 1-5 Sept 08. Room was great (studio)! No weird smell and clean. 2 receptionist (Lucy and Pra) are great fun, friendly and very helpful. However, breakfast is the same everyday and nothing to shout about. Only bad point is the massage in the resort, really bad.

We stayed for 4 nights in the hotel, the staff was nice and helpful however the hotel is old, the room is old, the shower is old, airconditioner is old, we also found ants inside the room. The breakfast is okay but the restaurant is aweful looks dirty and the waiters were even with slippers.
The pool is okay but the pool chairs are old and you will find them all occupied with some people from other hotels. The beack chairs and umbrellas are terrible.......... anyway, it is very different from what we saw on their web site!

Our second stay at Al s Resort. The hotel has a very good location on the beautiful Chaweng beach, with the main street just outside the door for shopping and dining. A well assorted super market is situated on the way to the main street. We stayed in a Villa de lux, offering a spacious living room and a bed room with adjoined bath room and an outdoor shower. Extra bed is no problem in any of the rooms. The standard of the rooms are quite OK, though a redecorating should be considered soon. The breakfast buffet is OK.
The service is OK, but the staff is very little English speaking. Als Resort can be recommended

We had a studioroom,whith wn exrat bed. Do not take thant!!!!!!!if you have kids. Take the deluxe villas instead. Except the room everything else was great.

This hotel was the worst hotel i stayed at ever in thailand. I have stayed in about 20 hotels in various classes. The rooms are very dirty on the walls, full of flies and other insects. 2 times we found cockrouges. the floow was dirty, the shower was as basic as it can be and only cold water in the sink. The only goob about this hotel is the location and the breakfast. But since we saw couchrouges in the resturant i did not really liked to eat there again. It is an overpriced, bad maintained hotel. Look for something els if you want to enjoy your stay at Samui, this will only make you regret it.
