DB Nov 08	Navalai River Resort, Khaosan Road area, Phranakorn First Class Hotel. Perfect location right on the river at pier 13 giving direct access to the river boat. It is also a 5/10 minute walk to Kho San Road. We stayed in the corner room which had view to another building, which was quieter than the city view room (road noisey), but not as nice as the river view which is approx £10 - £15 more expensive. Downside of hotel was service - we ate in the restaurant one evening but would not recommend it as the main meal came out 2 mins after the starter, and the main meal (steak) was not good and nearly cold. Then the bill was wrong....overcharged, however they immediately corrected this. I would recommend restaurant for snack food....sandwiches etc. We also ordered room service for one meal and glass of wine.....they forgot to bring the wine. Apart from this I would definitely recommend the hotel, the rooms were newly & beautifully decorated with good size balconies (perfect if you smoke!)and also for the roof top swimming pool with excellent views accross the city.	Our request was for corner room for 3 nights, for which we received an email confirming availability and requesting payment. I sent payment and then received a further email to advise the room was only available for 2 nights and we would need to change to city view for last night (we had already arrived at hotel). This was our last night before returning to Ireland, so was dissapointing. Tried to speak to reception staff but they did not understand (or pretended not to)- considering their emails were word perfect!!
Manfred KLUGE 2008-11-25	Navalai River Resort, Khaosan Road area, Phranakorn Navalai River Hotel has certainly a superb location, directly at the Chao Praya, with a wonderful river terrace where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast or dinner (both are very fine). From the swimming pool on the 6th floor you have a magnificent view over Bangkok. Rooms are brand new, with an interesting modern-style interior, incl. the bathrooms, and are equipped with modern air-condition and fan. The rooms on the street side are a bit noisy, naturally, since they look on Pra-Athit street, which is very busy at night. The riverside rooms are magnificent, with a large balcony and a view of the Chao Praya, but they cost a few hundred Baht more, of course. Very convenient is the Pra-Arthit ferry pier which is just behind the hotel, from where the express boats take you up or down the famous riverside sightseeing places.	Booking was made without any problems, confirmation was sent promptly. Special thanks to the customer manager of WEBSAWADEE, who was extremely kind and helpful solving an issue with the hotel management, as the booked room category suddenly turned out to be no more available and he arranged to reserve an upgraded room for the same price(!).
Daryl Bending 2008-11-24	Navalai River Resort, Khaosan Road area, Phranakorn Great find! Good location, nice rooms, friendly staff, and good value. The food at the restaurant was very good (we rarely eat at hotel restaurants, but chose to eat there a couple of nights); the only criticism we have is the choice in music played in the evenings at the restaurant, but that s not a major problem! Would definitely stay there again, and will recommend the hotel to others.	Efficient & easy, as always
Sterzinger Stefanie 2008-11-04	Navalai River Resort, Khaosan Road area, Phranakorn It was our first trip to thailand. Navalai River Resort is a great place to stay. Our room was nice, quite and clean. The visit from the top of the hotel was great. Pool was fine, also the breakfast. Big plus: you have to walk 15 meters and you are at the landing stage for express boats - cheapest and quickest way to visit bangkok. We will stay at the navalai resort again	Perfect
Rune Dybdahl 2008-10-31	Navalai River Resort, Khaosan Road area, Phranakorn Good staff. Except cleaning staff. They want me to pay 300bth because sheets were dirty??? I stayed for 2 days +1 day I get sick of Food poising. Sins I only had food from the hotel. Maybe it came from breakfast. It was not hot. My holiday was destroyed. White out the food. Was this a god hotel?	I have use swanadee.com before. No problem. Good prices for hotel.
Rahim Velji 2008-10-26	Navalai River Resort, Khaosan Road area, Phranakorn We arrived and we were greeted very very well, however our room with a king bed that we requested and got confirmation on was not available for some reason maybe because we had arrived late at nite and walk in guest could have been offered it. we were told that we could have it tmrw, the next day i was told that it might be ready today if someone checked out ,after asking for the manager the room we wanted was given in 30 seconds and it was just perfect, as was everything else minus the 1st hiccup, and internet not working in room only lobby,room was clean 9/10 service from every member security, maids travel agency was amazing 10/10 breakfast which was included was ok 7/10 food in restauarnt in the evening 5/10 but the staff there did there best to get what we wanted the only major complaint i had was that we could not stay longer because i had only booked 5 nights and the hotel was full so we moved regretting we didnt book longer nothing else compares to the beauty of Navali its location and its staff... Keep up the great work team..	1st time using this site it so was suprised that it was like an e ticket but it would be nice if the hotel you booked in also re confirmed your reservation .
Laks Pathi 2008-10-24	Navalai River Resort, Khaosan Road area, Phranakorn +Good clean room, friendly staff. Breakfast/Dining area facing the river is a plus. The ramp for river cruise provides good transport access. Close to major touristy sites. Recommend booking River view rooms. Rooms on the northern side face an old residence and some entertainment place and thus could be noisy. Rooms on the southern side face some construction work for another hotel next door.	Satisfied with booking service.
DUFAU Andre 2008-10-24	Navalai River Resort, Khaosan Road area, Phranakorn J’ai passé avec mon épouse 2 jours au début de nos vacances au Navalai. Il est très bien situé, proche de Kaosant Road mais suffisamment loin pour ne pas être dérangé par le bruit et a un accès direct à la rivière. L’hôtel est très bien, il y a un très bon petit déjeuner sur la terrasse et une agréable piscine sur le toit. Malheureusement le jour de notre départ mon épouse a oublié sur la table de nuit 3 bagues en or et malgré notre coup de téléphone une heure plus tard, (nous étions dans le bus pour Kanchanabury) et notre plainte auprès de la police Touristique le personnel ne nous à pas restitués les bagues et a été d’un très grand mépris. C’est du vol !!!	Trés bon service et trés simple d utilisation. Merci
Saumitra Rathi 2008-10-19	Navalai River Resort, Khaosan Road area, Phranakorn A very nice hotel with spacious rooms, helpful staff, excellent bathrooms and great location only minutes away from Khao san road.	Excellent booking and follow up service would definately recommend.
Peter Bradford 2008-10-17	Navalai River Resort, Khaosan Road area, Phranakorn The Navalai overlooks the river, and is next to Phra Athit (No.13) Pier. Our room cost 2,000 bahts a night and included an excellent all you can eat western or Thai buffet breakfast. Our room had a decent sized balcony and looked right out onto the river. There are other less expensive rooms, which obviously have slightly less scenic views. You could take breakfast either indoors, or outdoors on the large terrace which overlooked the river. The hotel has a very popular restaurant. The only downside for us was that the roof-top deck and pool was out of order while we were there. Overall, and excellent hotel, just the right place to unwind for a couple of nights after a long journey.
