MA Hoosain 2009-04-14	Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa, Riverside, Charoennakorn Road This was our 2nd visit to this hotel. Our previous visit was 18 months ago and based on the exceptional experience then, we decided to select this hotel again on our visit to Bangkok. This time, the hotel was exceptionally busy and looked like it was fully booked. This impacted our experience at breakfast where we had to wait for up to 10 minutes to be seated every morning during our stay. Also this resulted in people crowding over the various food stations at breakfast, which made breakfast a rather frenetic and stressful experience. The food however was of an exceptional standard and plentiful. Management was always visible during breakfast times and regularly interacted with guests. Due to the number of guests, service by staff was poor (probably due to the Sonkrang festival)and we had to constantly flag down a waiter. The furnishings in the hotel was not as plush as it was 18 months ago (probably due to wear and tear)and detracted from the 5 star experience. Our room was exceptionally clean, but there was a damp smell after using the shower. Due to this experience, I would probably use another hotel next time I visit Bangkok. I would still recommmend the hotel for the resort feel, but it needs to be refurbished.	Booking service was excellent, offered very good rates,was efficient and easy to use. Would definitely use this service again.
Geoffrey Rose 2009-03-02	Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa, Riverside, Charoennakorn Road Lovely hotel set on the river with great boat link to the skytrain which is pretty important for getting around bangkok. We has a good room overlooking the pool area and onto the river which was well supplied and spacious. Breakfast wasa good experience and sadly missed when we left. On the down side EVERYTHING was soo over priced! I know this should be expected at a city hotel but it put us off eating and drinking at the hotel as the up mark was soo extreme. A bit of a let down but still a good hotel in a nice location.

Mr.John Weir 2008-10-14	Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa, Riverside, Charoennakorn Road Good place to stay with great food and service. Rooms are spacious and well set out. We stayed for two nights to take our young children to DreamWorld (worth a visit for a good inexpensive day out) but is more suited for couples then young families for a longer period. This is the second year we have stayed there for a short period and would do so again.	Usual high standards, easy and hassle free
miss pamela anne wilson 2008-09-20	Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa, Riverside, Charoennakorn Road fantastic hotel, staff very helpful, we had deluxe room overlooking pool and river area and it was gorgeous, best breakfast choice we have ever seen and it was delicious. great restaurants within hotel also. hotel very well situated as free river ferry to Sathon pier and then sky train to anywhere in city. beware of rip off tuk tuk drivers!!!!! all great fun though.. definately be back to stay here if in Bangkok again... well recommended..	excellent, no problems and will definately use again in future...

Rossi M 2008-07-06 until 2008-07-08	Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa, Riverside, Charoennakorn Road Excellent hotel. GR8 food, excellent service, nice pool. Minuses: Very expensive, if you eat or drink at the htl. Room air not completely fresh. Shuttle to skytrain st very handy and feels luxurious to wipe urself with a fresh towel on a boat, after a hard days shopping in town. Small minus: staff was constantly asking for written feedback but did not have too much coordination about our needs, resulting in asking for more coffee 4 times in a row in 10 minutes. Would recommend and come back again.
