Ms.Scates 2009-04-16	Hotel de Moc (former Thai Hotel), Khaosan Road area,Prajatipatai We were plesantly surprised to sweep up in a taxi to this excellent 3 star hotel.With the riots on the streets and Songkran just starting it is as well not to get soaked or bombed before getting into this welcoming hotel.The hotel has an English General Manager,Mr Williams who is bringing everything up to European standards.Floors 6 and 5, where we had an excellent room have all been updated.Front line staff all speak good English and are very helpful.Good breakfast for all tastes and good Thai/Chinese/English evening menue obviously at Hotel prices.A swimming pool in this price range was most welcome.We can only speak for our experience and would thoughly recomend this hotel and booking service.	Very easy even for a relative non computer person like myself and the prices were much cheaper than booking direct!
Johannes Bruin 2009-04-06	Hotel de Moc (former Thai Hotel), Khaosan Road area,Prajatipatai Hotel suited us as we wanted to be near Kohsan Road but out of the hustle and bustle. Was only an easy 10 minutes walk. The hotel rooms were a bit dated but clean. Breakfast had a good asortment of food. and the pool was a godsend after walking all day. I felt it was good value for our dollar	no complaints at all.

In the evening dark around the hotel, all shops closed, no restaurants nearby, no nice area. Very busy, noise from the direct highway(direct) at the right side of the hotel) and the busy mainstreet ahead. Nice hotel at the wrong place.	Good
Kristofer 2009-01-26	Hotel de Moc (former Thai Hotel), Khaosan Road area,Prajatipatai Can t really recommend this hotel. The rooms where much more run down then the ones on the pictures. It s location was not to good either, a lot of taxis couldn t find the place. Even with a small map provided by the hotel. Not good value for your money.	Smooth as always.

Our room was small but clean, the aircondtioner was perfect and we had hot water. What more could anyone ask for?? The location for us was perfect as it is on the quiet side of the road. The breakfests were wealthy and perfektly prepared. We were content.	The staff was friedly and helpful

The hotel is not far from Khaosan Road, and they have free tuc-tuc to khaosan Road. we can definetly rtecommend Hotel de Moc	excellent booking service
