Only stayed here 1 night due to connecting flight problems thanks to Thai Airways moving our flight from Khon Kaen to Bangkok back to Don Muang airport !!! Hotel was fine, rooms clean and staff courteous. Room service was used and was very prompt. Good selection of food for breakfast also.
Excellent as usual

Defintely adequate we stayed here on two seperate occasions coming into Thailand and before we left for two nights. We did not get the welcome plate of fruit/chocolates or a newspaper like everyone else either time. The breakfast buffet was really good lots to choose from but the food in the same restaurant for lunch and dinner was terrible as was the service, it was lousy, do not waste your money. The only other thing I would mention is that it is far from other restaurant options and not within walking distance of anything. The taxi service at the front door is a rip off walk down the driveway and hire a metred one. The hotel charges 800 Baht to airport and we got there and back for 400.
we used this service to book four different hotels without incident. Highly recommend the service for a worry free pay up front vacation.

Ok city-hotel. Quite expensive. Located near the airport ( 800 bath in transport), but in a dull industrial area. The room was average and the price -level in the hotel high!! The socalled shopping arcade does not exist. The hotel have quite a large number of chinese costumers, which is obvious, from the very chinese breakfast buffet to the rest of the differnt menues. The pool area is boring and the water is so cold( imagine, to write cold, when you write about Thailand). We booked the hotel for one night already in november and payed deposit. In january we got a mail, that due to a exhibition, the price was now 800,- bath higher. That is really not a way to do business. All in all- hm... for one night I would stay at the real airport-hotel. For more nights I would go into the center of bangkok and get the feeling of the city, as you do not get it here.
see comment in review about price policy.

Hmmm... Businessman -hotel, big, cold, average rooms.Too expensive, for what you get.I would nt say that we were threated unfriendly, just impersonal. The so-called business/ shop arcade does nt exist. There is absolutely nothing to do ! You are stuck by the high way!The pool area was dull and the poolwater freezing cold, ( never thought I would write about pool water in Thailand!!)The restaurants are expensive. The included breakfast was ok, though very chinese, ( this is obvious a hotel with many chinese costumers). I would recommend for a over-night stay, to stay closer to the airport or for more than one night to go into the center of Bangkok, where the buzz is going on.

My wife and I stayed here twice during our recent visit to Thailand. We won t stay there again. On both occasions when we checked out they took the liberty of converting the charge in baht to dollars at a very lousy rate. This is the only hotel we stayed in that did this. Even with the 3 percent charge for currency conversion VISA charges, I would be better off as they give the proper exchange rate. They also hit me with an extra 800 baht per day charge because there was some sort of BITEC trade show in the neighborhood. They did this after I had paid one days lodging (non-refundable) in advance to hold my reservations. They gave me short notice on the BITEC charges and my only option would have been to try to find another hotel on short notice in High tourist season, plus loose one days room rent. The rooms are the smallest of any hotel we stayed in on this trip (four others). Don t buy anything from the minibar in your room or use their laundry service if at all possible. Their prices are way out of line; 120 baht for a small bottle of water. The breakfast buffet is very good with an excellent variety of European and Asian foods. The regular coffee is horrible. Ask your waitperson for an espresso if you want decent coffee. The downstairs bar has the usual Heineken and Thai rice beers at ridiculous prices. The hotel staff is very helpful, but after awhile they get on your nerves. While they claim to be close to the airport, it s a 20 minute taxi ride; a little less, or a little more depending on traffic. Once again, over priced and they hit you with a lot of extra charges. Do not use their airport limo service, as they charge 800 baht for a trip that is less than 200 baht by meter taxi. You can do better for less money in Bangkok.
On our first stay, the desk clerk claimed he couldn t find our reservation. When I asked to speak to the manager, the dude dug deeper and found that they had filed it under my middle initial!! Not Sawadee s fault.

Nice, clean hotel. The staff was very friendly and polite We arrived close to midnight and everything went smoothly. DO NOT CATCH A TAXI THROUGH A SERVICE AT THE AIRPORT. WALK DOWNSTAIRS IF YOU CAN AND TAKE A PUBLIC TAXI. These are metered taxis and are way cheaper. Really good breakfast and comfortable beds.
Amazing service, no hassle and after twenty three hours of flying Sawadee.com mad eour lives much easierupon arrival.

We arrived late to the hotel, however the service was impecable. From the moment we stepped outside our taxi, the doormen and all other staff were really helpful. The hotel was very nice. Our room was more than adequate, and very clean. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful, and was included in the price of our room. We only stayed one night as we were flying to Chiang Mai the next morning, but I m sure that we would have been more than happy to stay here at this hotel for longer. The staff were so helpful, and very professional.
The booking system through Sawadee was so easy. I guess going to another country, I wasn t sure whether or not my hotel booking would be showing when I arrived at each hotel, as I booked three hotels in total whilst on my trip to Thailand. I had no problem with any of them, except for the hotel in Phuket that we had booked. The photos on the Sawadee website were nothing like the hotel I booked, and when we arrived it was more like a guest house, definitely not suitable. I have contacted Sawadee in regards to this on the 10th November, however as yet have not had a reply, so this is extremely dissapointing. Perhaps you could have someone contact me as they definitely need to address the problem with this hotel which was the Family Inn in Patong, Phuket. Otherwise I will definitely use the Sawadee site again as it was so easy. Sue
