Panalee Resort, Bang Po Beach We have been to Panalee Resort for one week in August 2009. Great, small resort with very beautiful bungalows. We chose the Honeymoon Suite. The service is very friendly and the rooms are very nice. I will surely go there again. |

Panalee Resort, Bang Po Beach 15 or so bungalows in a pretty garden on a long, unspoilt beach on the north coast. The décor was refined and the service friendly and efficient. The downside was having to cross a main road to get to the beach, the tiny pool and the lack of variety in the breakfast menu. There are some excellent, very cheap beach restaurants near the resort (if you like Thai food)and one of the few places where one can get a real cocktail on Samui -- Chokdee bar. All in all it was an excellent setting for a romantic break away from the more touristy areas. |
